Ten short answers about the top-up flow.

How do I top up through this site?

Open the recharge page, type the ten digits on the back of your card, pick a card type, choose an amount in AED, then submit. The page redirects to the payment companion where you enter the Visa or Mastercard details.

How long does the credit take to arrive?

Usually under three minutes after a successful card payment. During heavy maintenance windows the credit can stretch to about an hour. If nothing arrives after that, email us with the order ID and we trace it.

What payment methods are accepted?

Visa and Mastercard, sixteen-digit credit and debit. American Express, Discover and JCB are not supported on this checkout. We do not accept bank transfers, cash or wallet apps on this page.

What are the limits and the fees?

Five AED minimum, five hundred AED maximum per transaction. The fee is shown on the recharge page before you confirm; the receipt repeats it line by line. There are no hidden line items at checkout.

The card was charged but the balance did not change.

Wait one hour after the payment. If the credit is still missing, send the order ID (starts with DXC-) to care@dubaicardrefill.org. If the credit truly did not land, the payment is reversed to the same card.

Is it safe to enter card data here?

The card data is collected on the payment companion at pay.dubaicardrefill.org, not on this domain. The processor handles approval and storage. We do not see the card number after the redirect.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, if the credit has not yet posted to the transit card. Once the funds are on the transit card, they belong to the transport network and can only be spent on rides. Full conditions on the refund page.

Which transit cards are supported?

The Silver, Personal and Gold profiles of the Dubai contactless transit card. Cards with a ten-digit number on the back. Single-trip paper tickets and special-event passes are not supported.

Where can I use the card after a top-up?

On the city train, on city buses, on the water buses across the Creek, at toll-free parking machines that accept the card, and at participating retail terminals in Dubai.
